These archived reports provide information on rheumatic fever cases reported in New Zealand from 2014-2018. Rheumatic fever is a notifiable disease in New Zealand and these reports use data from EpiSurv, the national notifiable disease database, combined with hospitalisation data.
The reports were established in 2014 to support the Ministry of Health's rheumatic fever prevention programme (RFPP) which ended on 30 June 2017.
