Radiation
Radiation is naturally occurring and man-made and is all around us. ESR works across a wide range of sectors providing expert radiation safety advice, services, training and research.
Our services cover public, occupational and medical exposure to radiation, performance assessment of radiation protection equipment, and the measurement of low-level radiation and radioactivity.
We help employers protect their staff by providing tailored training courses, equipment calibrations and support. We also perform radiation surveys and assess hazards in the workplace from ionising radiation associated with x-ray equipment, radioactive sources and naturally occurring radioactive materials.
Through robust testing we provide private and public sector clients with certification that products fall below acceptable levels for radiation to protect their reputation and that of their export products.
We have connections to, and strong working relationships with, global radiation authorities and agencies. We are the preferred supplier of radiological safety services to the Ministry of Health
